In With The New…Out With The Old

I’m willing to admit that I am occasionally wrong about you guys.

The plan for 1.8 was in development for 6 months. That’s like a million years in Minecraft time. I poured over every detail…how I would test it, how we would present it, how it would differ from the main server, the technical necessities, the cost, the time, the effort required. You know, typical Serverus stuff.

We decided to make it harder. KeepInventory would be gone. The mobs would knock down your flimsy wooden doors. You’d get a limited number of command blocks. The admins wouldn’t help you as much. No toad hut powers, no command of the week, no killing yourself to get back to your bed.

The flipside of this was twofold. First, you’d be able to play 1.8, which was the obvious benefit. We knew from the get-go that the server would have to be a branch off from the Main server, your previous and forever home, because of the lag issues. When the ore generation sliders were announced, I knew THAT was the linchpin that would get you to play on both servers. Then the admins started to put spawn together before we launched, and I knew that we had a winner.

What I didn’t count on…was that you’d all be playing so much on the new server, that the Main server would become a ghost town.

I’ll admit, I figured some of you wouldn’t be able to hack it, playing on the harder, less coddling, 1.8 server. Especially the kids. I was waiting for whining. I was waiting for you to give up. I was waiting for some of you to just head back home where there was little consequence, little fear of the Minecraft nighttime.

What I found instead surprised me. Every single one of you, down to a player, embraced the new difficulty. You found ways to join forces to battle it. You helped the kids overcome it. And not a one of you whined about losing your stuff when you died. OK some of you did 😉 But you trudged on despite that. Despite our steadfast decision to refuse help to you, you decided to stick around.

Which brings me to the decision we’ve made today.

Yeah yeah Chris, get on with it already…

Sorry, I like to be melodramatic.

This unanimous exodus to the survival server has left me in a bit of a pickle. On the one hand, we’re supposed to have two servers running. That was the plan. On the other hand, almost no one is playing on the Main server anymore, the 1.8 server lags more often than I’d like, and playing mob police is wearing thin, on all of us I think. We want you to be able to play the way you want, the way you’re used to playing. And even though I can’t guarantee that this decision will let you do exactly that, it will certainly help.

So while this was a tough decision for me to make, I think it will be for the best. Especially considering that Spigot 1.8 is even further away than we originally hoped, what with the Microsoft merger and the Bukkit fiasco of a few weeks ago. So in the interest of where the players have gathered en masse now, I’ve decided to put the Main server on ice until Bukkit catches up, and shift the funds we normally reserve for that server, into upgrading the 1.8 server.

What this means for you

Clearly, the first thing this means is that you won’t be playing on the Main server for a while. Don’t worry about the world map, that will be safe with us. Birthdays will be noted and the XP will be reserved for the reactivation. However, if you had toad hut powers, I’m afraid those will end prematurely. To be fair though, most of them have by this point.

The server address for the 1.8 server will become mc.gmmc.me. This is to get all the stragglers who don’t follow along to finally join us. What I’ve noticed is that most of the people who don’t participate in the Facebook group log on from time to time, and they are probably wondering where everyone is (despite my log on message but whatever, not everyone reads that) so let’s show them what all the hubbub is about, shall we?

In the end, I promise this will be a good thing. The server that everyone is playing on will be more capable (a full 8GB of RAM!), you’ll probably be able to house more animals closer together, and the simultaneous player limit will be upped to 30. You’ll lag less, and I’ll enjoy hearing about lag less too 😉

Then, once Bukkit and Spigot are back on board, we’ll reopen the Main server for an amazing homecoming. Thanks to Bungeecord, you’ll be able to move between servers and bring all of the stuff you’ve amassed on 1.8 over to Main, and you’ll be able to pimp out your original properties with all the cool new 1.8 stuff.

It will be a fabulous return, and I know it will be another grand chapter to pen in our history book.

For now though, let’s fully enjoy where we are, all of us. This decision takes a lot of pressure off of me, the admins, and you too, since you now won’t have to worry about what’s happening over on the other server. Everything will be safe and sound until we’re ready to rejoin it.

So when does this all happen?

The FragNet renewal for the main server typically would happen on October 5th, so I’ll be taking it offline the day before, on Saturday, October 4th. Until then, I’ve turned on /repair so you can get a chance to head over and fix all of your tools for the next 10 days or so. This gives you at least SOME reason to go back on over for a little bonus, and to wrap up any last loose threads before saying TTFN.

Again, this was a tough decision to make. I hope all of you agree with it, but in the end I think you’ll be happy that I did. It’s going to be really weird for me and Tonya, more than anyone. We’ve been playing in this world for over two years now, and it’s been the most amazing thing we’ve ever had the privilege to start and see grow. If you’re fairly observant, you already noticed that the picture I used for this article, is a picture from back when we weren’t even part of a bigger online community yet. It may as well be two lifetimes ago that all this began for us.

I know that it’s coming back, but still, it’s going to be hard to hit that Stop Server button on October 4th, knowing the wrinkle in time we’ll be creating for a world we’ve put so much of ourselves into. We’ll be looking forward to its return just as much as you.

As per usual, any questions, feel free to let me know in the post, or below in the comments.

Thanks,
Serverus

1.8 is here! The Bountiful update has had us all flooding the alt server, eagerly trying to plant new roots on a brand new map.

As you know from the previous article regarding 1.8 we’re approaching this new map differently. Without the safety net of our plug ins to help reduce lag we’ve needed to make concessions elsewhere. The amount of command blocks each player is allowed has been limited and redstone contraptions are being strictly regulated. As the new map expands we may find that we may need to become more strict with other things, and more lenient with others so please just bare with us while we get this all figured out.

With that said, let us lay down some of the ground rules for this new server and map. For the most part, the rules from the main server still apply. If you are not familiar with those, or need a refresher, please go back and read those over. With the basic guidelines set in place from the main server, we need to add the following list of rules in regards to the new alt server:

Command Blocks: every player/account is allowed 2 sets of command blocks (CBs). One set from the command tower to your home and back, another set to your personalized vault and back to your home. If you decide not to use a set for one of these purposes it does not entitle you to an extra set to link up somewhere else, it just means that you have chosen not to use one of your sets at this time.

Teams are a part of the scoreboard feature and have become a useful tool for the admins. We can set up a command block for team use which would allow several people the use of just one cb instead of having multiple cbs to enter a vault for example. This helps the server by not having all the extra cb clutter. The admins will be happy to set up a team for you and your family if you would like one. There are a few groups who have played closely together for some time, we will allow those groups to become a team, but be aware that you can only be one team at a time and we will only change this for you ONCE. Children will be on a team with their parents if requested by the parents but we won’t be setting up any “kids” teams (they disband so frequently).

You can move/redirect your command block ONCE! If you get bored in a location that you’re in, or decide you’d rather be closer to another set of coords or a biome that is not already occupied, feel free to settle in. However, your command blocks will not move with you. We suggest you make a permanent base camp and that you have “vacation” homes throughout the world where you will be safe on your adventures. I suggest placing enderchests in these homes so that you can easily access stuff from another house that you have put in there (although, good luck getting your hands on an enderpearl, and I mean that sincerely). Also, feel free to buddy up. On the main server the admins were gracious enough to supply you with spawn huts at different biomes, and I know that some of you awesome folks have been nice enough to share the coordinates of biomes that you find. Build a spawn hut! Post the coords to this “safe house”. These are still allowed, they just will not be admin supplied or command block accessible, and if you do use one of these that was built by another player, be respectful. Do not remove or break anything that was placed to help make things easier for anyone who wanted to use it, but also be aware that admins won’t be replacing it either if they are damaged. So, use the golden rule *Do unto others as you would have done unto you* and work together for the greater good.

DO NOT build inside the wall around spawn: The admins have marked off land around the spawn area that will include the market, and any other community services we find are necessary. If you are found building inside the wall area we will ask you to tear down your structures and move. We will supply you with temporary command blocks to assist the move but they will only be up for a limited time.

Redstone contraptions and auto farms: if you are using redstone on the server we only ask that anything being powered by it has on/off capabilities and is always in the “off” position when not in use. Even when you are online, if you are not using it at the moment it should be off. This will greatly reduce lag not just for you, but for other players who may live nearby.

You may have heard once or twice that Auto farms are the bane of Serverus’ existence. Very little sympathy is given for lag complaints if there are auto farms nearby, and if the admins find them, we will dismantle them. As the plug ins catch up to the new update we may become more lax about this. In the mean time, no auto farms!

Villages, Fortresses, Desert and Jungle Temples and Water Monuments: Valuable resources can be found in any of these naturally spawning structures and we want to allow them to be open to everyone. The exception we have recently made to this rule has been Ocean Monuments. Due to the amount of work that goes into conquering one of these we have agreed to allow you to claim one monument for yourself (if you are an individual player) or your family.

Since guardians will continue to spawn in an area where a monument may have been standing, even after you tear yours down (if that’s what you decide to do) you will still be able to collect the valuable shards needed to make the blocks and lamps only found in those monuments. Therefore even if the structure is gone, you may not claim another monument. While these have proven not to be rare we want to ensure everyone has the chance to claim one.  However, this does not mean you can not loot other monuments as long as they have not been claimed.

To claim a monument, place signs above and/or around them to show any one who passes by that it has been claimed. Also, please take a screen shot with coordinates and post it in the group. Command blocks will not be placed to them fro easier access so if you can try to find one close by, or we recommend the use of enderchests to help get those new blocks back home.

Spawners: if you find a mob spawner in your caves while exploring, you may make it an XP farm, but the admins will not set up a command block to it. There will be no community XP farms established. You may allow other people access to it, but it will have to be through your own command block. Also, you must be able to shut it off when not in use (even if you are not online, other players may be nearby loading the chunk that would make it spawn), and DO NOT under any circumstances go AFK (away from keyboard) in front of one.

Mob Droppers/Grinders: Unlike droppers on the Skyblock or Sea Lab maps that we’ve done, mob droppers will not work the same way on this server. There are too many places for mobs to spawn underground and other places on the map. They will not work properly so please do not build them.

Animals: Animals are a major source of confusion on the server and an even bigger factor where lag is concerned so let’s clear this up. We’re asking that unless you are actively breeding and harvesting at THAT moment that you keep no more than 2 of each animal in a 16×16 pen.  For single block animals (chickens and bunnies) you can double that number. if you only have one kind of animal we ask that you have no more than 10 animals, divided up by 2s in the same sized pens. EXCEPT horses! Horses are a whole other issue because they are bigger, they are rideable, and they come in various colors. Your dreams of owning a horse in every color will just have to wait. Keep no more than 1 horse per 16×16 pen.

THIS IS NOT PERMANENT! We are trying to work out solutions to the lag which would allow us to have more animals. This is a rule that even the admins are being held to. None of us are enjoying the lag issues that we knew would come with a big update like this In the mean time we need your help to keep lag to a minimum for all.

Rules are subject to change as we find necessary. However, notice will be given when/if we do so.

why-we

I’ve been asked before why I continue to do this. Suffice to say that the answer is not “money”.

As the principal investors in Some Awesome Minecraft, Tonya and I are often met with incredulous stares over the amount of money we pour into this endeavor. Believe me, it does not go unnoticed by us on a monthly basis. However, as a couple who have found themselves in the unique position to create a community where we can share our love of video games and combine it with our desire to give others the opportunity to bond with their children, we found that Minecraft was the perfect mix of both. If we had let that chance pass us by and did nothing instead, or worse, kept it to ourselves, we wouldn’t have been able to live with that decision.

So what does that have to do with taking donations? Quite a lot actually. I’ll try and break down the reasons that we have committed to over the last year and a half…

1. You’ve already paid $26 (or more) for Minecraft

In fact, if you’re like us, you’ve already paid upwards of $200 for Minecraft (7 PC accounts, 2 XBOX accounts, 4 Pocket Edition accounts, soon a PS3 account). So why would you want to pay more just to PLAY the game? We know you’ve invested as much as you can into playing the game, and like us, you’re probably part of a family that is trying to make ends meet. Asking for more, without reason, would feel wrong.

2. You shouldn’t feel the need to pay for what we can afford

Tonya and I are not rich by any means, but we can afford to pay for these servers. We also pay for the Starbound server, and a few other things related to the Some Awesome community, but we’ve budgeted that into our monthly bills. This is not the by-product of wealth, but this server has grown with us and we’ve made concessions to accommodate that. We’ve had the privilege of leveraging a great community of gamers to seed these servers with players, that’s all anyone could ask for with regards to assistance.

Don’t get me wrong, if something were to happen where we could no longer afford the servers, we would ask for donations to keep it running, but that is a VERY last resort.

3. Money and Friendship do NOT go hand in hand

We consider you all to be great friends. In fact, most of the best friends we’ve made, have been through this group. If you’ve ever been in the position where you owe a friend money, or you have a friend that owes you money, you know that it only dampens the relationship you have with that person.

4. Donations = Obligations

If you need any proof of this, just look at Congress. Campaign “contributions”, lobbying, etc. These are the things that ruin a good system.

Now I’m not saying that all, or even most, of you would take advantage of the fact that you had given donations, but it is always a present danger. Quite frankly, as someone who is very receptive and empathetic, I know that I would have a hard time banning someone who had donated. Even if it was something as simple as a suggestion for changing a rule or an addition to the server, I would HAVE to take their donation into account. Honestly, I don’t want something as frivolous as a donation to skew what I think is best for this server.

5. Mojang and their EULA

Recently, Mojang started enforcing their stance on “pay to play” servers. Mind you, we had discussed, at some length, the idea of monetizing the server using BuyCraft or similar, to generate some income to help us pay the costs associated with Some Awesome Minecraft. I’m actually happy now to say that we decided never to do that, because it would have become something we were dependent on, and we never want to be dependent on outside sources to maintain the uptime for these servers.

6. Our Admins are picked from the freshest beans

I think it’s worth letting people know that our Admins are not paid. They do this because they love the game, and because they love you guys. Should the need arise, we want to know that we can choose our Admins from the pool of players NOT because they can contribute monetarily, but because they will always do what they think is best for this community. Money only serves to dilute the interests that come with such a responsibility. Simply put, our Admins are here because they know they have something to contribute that is much more important than money.

Now, if it ever comes to pass that SAMC is making a profit, they’ll be compensated handsomely of course 😉 But it’s nice to know that’s not an expectation (and honestly we’re at LEAST a year away from profitability).

WE APPRECIATE YOU ASKING THOUGH

Don’t get us wrong, it’s REALLY nice to know that you guys want to chip in, but we made a serious decision at the beginning of this that we want you to be able to play and enjoy these servers without having to contribute. We absolutely appreciate everyone just sticking to the rules, and trying to make the server a great place to play, for all ages. That’s all we ask.

And if you have a great idea for the server, know that if we implement it, it’s because we think it’s a great idea, and not because you threw us a few bucks.

If you want to really help, then please share our group and the Some Awesome community with your friends wherever you can. We are more than happy to send you business cards to hand out, or do whatever we can to help you spread the word.

You can also purchase Some Awesome T-shirts, buy through our affiliate links, or just visit our websites. Every little bit helps, and gives you something in return for your participation, which is important to us.

More than anything though, you can help by donating to the causes that we get behind, particularly our yearly stint with Extra Life. Your money is better off helping those truly in need.

Always For The Community,
– Serverus

Yay the 1.8 minecraft update is here!

We, like you, are really excited!

However as some of you may remember from the 1.7 update our server didn’t handle it well, Lag no matter how good your PC,  server crashing and heavy restriction put all over the server, at one point we had to turn off ALL fountains, Beacons, and there was NO exploring allowed.

Let me explain:

I won’t go into half as much detail as Chris, but one of the reasons our server works so well is the plug-ins we have, they keep it all running smoothly and we have a great deal of protection in place with these plug-ins.  Now with an update there is always a great delay in the plug-ins being updated too. With 1.7 it took nearly 5 months before everything could be restored and at one point it became unbearable to play on the server. With all this in mind we WILL NOT be updating the main server, until all plug-ins are updated too.

WELL THAT SUCKS!

Yes it does greatly! But hold your horses!

Over the next couple of weeks/days we will be preparing the alternate server to open up as a second Main server complete with the 1.8 update. This server will be a permanent feature, so  you can build, explore and create new community lots. With us not having as much control over the 1.8 server we (the admin team) have decided to take you completely back to Basics, meaning we’re going back to vanilla!

No Keep Inventory (you die, you drop your stuff)

Mob griefing will be ON (When that Creeper goes BOOM, he will mean business)

Were upping the difficultly! (no more easy mobs, RUN!)

….But because we’re a family friendly server and much rather promote a more community feel server PvP will still be off.

Ore Generation has been increased! (diamonds everywhere )

Admins will not be selling you anything!

You will Only be allowed ONE pair of CBs to and from the new(ish) Command Tower, and that will be all the CBs you’re allowed.

LAG! LAG LAG! I’m not going to lie the probability of great lag is high as we will have no plug-ins to reduce it, it will probably crash a lot too. So it is asked you take all lag reducing measure into account when you play. If you are unsure what these are, Please read this article.  If you are found deliberately causing lag admins will take matters into their own hands without giving warning!

Mob Griefing on:

With this on there will become a huge amount of creeper hole everywhere, you are asked to fill them back in! If you haven’t got the materials to do so my suggestion is to take a screen shot with your coordinates on and either ask an admin really really nicely or go back later and back fill leaving a sign to say you will do so. To take a srceen shot  press F3 to bring up your De-bug screen and then F2 to take a screen shot (to close the de-bug screen press F3 again).

Withers:

For the time being, until the server is established we ask no withers are spawned.

The End & Ender Dragon:

There will be NO access to the End until further notice, all end portals have been located and turned off. The loot has been left in the strongholds and should you stumble across one, the loot is yours but the strongholds will remain Server property.

Villages:

After some discussion we have decided there will be no Claiming of Villages on this server. If you find one, you are free to loot it, use it and even extend it, but it will remain community property and other players will be free to use it. This all said if you create your own village (with a couple of cured zombie villagers) this will be your property and not open for public use (unless you desire). There is also a village very close to spawn, that we would like you not to touch as we would like to preserve this.

2014-09-01_08.48.32

Underwater dungeons:

These are open and up for grabs, like with the Villages there is no claiming it all to yourself, but you are welcome to loot, destroy and take all the blocks.

PLEASE NOTE: Admins have located one underwater dungeon which is to be preserved, NOT touched, NOT even explored.

2014-08-29_19.03.24

I’m going to highlight this now in case it’s unclear, although we are taking you back to basics and there are some new rules, the old ones that apply on the main server will still apply on the new one. As always if you are found breaking rules, actions will be taken. If you are needing a re-cap on the rules then follow the link: http://www.gmmc.me/server-rules/

What does the future hold?

I would like to highlight this is in no way the end of our main server, in fact our hope is in a few months’ time to connect both worlds via a tether, this will either be in the form of a portal or Command block meaning you can easily walk between the two taking your inventory with you.

As you can imagine we are incredibly excited about this and look forward to explore a whole new world with you.

As always if you have any question feel free to comment or message us.

2014-08-31_08.56.07

As the server continues to grow and more players come and go, we’re finding that we are coming across more abandoned builds in areas that may have once been isolated, but are now becoming populated. To avoid expanding the map any further before the next update, we’d like to fill in areas that are still under-developed. The first rule of building still applies that you need to give any neighbors plenty of room to expand their properties, so first and foremost, when scouting out land, please be sure there are no nearby structures, and fencing off the land you feel you may need to complete your vision is helpful.

To be clear, when we say “Abandoned Builds” we are not referring to fully constructed properties of players who no longer play. These would be considered “Retired Builds” and we do not remove those or any items inside in case the player decides to one day visit it again. We feel the world is big enough that we don’t have to tear down any of these structures to make room for new players. We also strongly feel that it represents our world’s history and makes it a more beautiful place to tour. So if you no longer play on our map, rest assured if you decide to come back we will not have removed your space without your knowledge. However, we do strongly suggest that if you have valuables or item frames inside that matter to you, that you do log back in at least one more time to place the valuables in your vault and to take a moment to re-hang item frames (which are player protected now). Also, please hang a sign above your entrance door to let the admins know who the property belongs to. We try our best to safeguard as many inactive places as we can, but we can’t be everywhere, and we are not responsible nor will we replace items that should have been safely tucked away in your absence.

NOTE: You may have noticed iron doors on your shops in the market, that is to announce to other players that the store is inactive and not to keep you out of it.

Abandoned Builds are defined as small(ish) structures that are incomplete in their build process. They lack any identifying materials inside that would let anyone know who they belong to. Sometimes one of our server kids may have been out playing, had an idea for a project, got bored and quit midway through. We try to discourage that, but it does happen. We’ve all been out exploring, it’s part of the fun, and we’ve all built up small structures to keep us safe from the dangers at night, in fact, if you look around you may find a few of Serverus’ own little explore huts he put up back from before we made the server public. We keep these around for nostalgic purposes. Using these as an example, say you find the perfect spot of land for your home and perhaps you don’t see this little shanty off in the distance and you start to build. Now it’s been days or weeks and you’re highly invested in this area and it’s too late to turn back now. Then you come across this home that doesn’t appear to have anyone occupying it and you haven’t seen anyone else around lately. What do you do? Allow us to lay out the new Abandoned Builds Protocol.

2014-08-26_11.50.16

Screen shot of an Abandoned Build with coordinates

If you should find what appears to be an abandoned build on your property please take a screen shot (F2) with coordinates (so press F3 before you press F2) of the building and post it in the group to see if it belongs to another player who maybe forgot to tear it down, is no longer invested in it, or has just moved on to something bigger elsewhere. In that case, you two may work out the details of you removing the property, and no admins need to get involved.

or…

If you decide not to post the image in the group yourself, or if you do and no one responds (remember, not all the kids have a Facebook account and you may not know their parent’s name to tag them) please, come to an admin and we will begin the protocol for removing the structure. Once in the admins’ hands we will follow this procedure:

1. We will post a screen shot in the group asking someone to claim the build
2. If a 7 day week has gone by and we have gotten no response, we will repost the screen shot once more allowing the owner one more 7 day week to claim the property.
3. If no one has claimed the build, the admins will remove the property and its contents, and the land is now yours.

We realize 14 days can be a long wait when you’re in the middle of a big project, but we ask that you consider if it were you or your child who perhaps lost internet access, or was grounded from video games for a while, or anything that would cause you not to be able to play. You would hope to be able to come back and find that your work has not been erased.

WARNING: If you decide to remove a structure that you did not build, this is considered griefing and a punishable offense. Depending on the severity, punishment could be as extreme as being banned from the server.

The rules and policies we enforce may seem strict, and for some, excessive, but even though it is “just a game” there are those of us who work very hard on this map and do take this game very seriously. For some of us, it’s our escape from the stresses and pressures of daily life and as admins, we want it to be an enjoyable place to come. Remember, we’re a Family Friendly server which means helping to mold new and young players who may not have much experience on multiplayer servers before. We want to be sure we’re keeping everything on a fair and respectful level for everyone. No one can disagree with the fact that we have some of the most awesome players living with us on our map, we all just need to remember to respect our neighbors and show a little tolerance and patience where the rules are concerned. They are all there due to past experiences we’ve had so trust us that they are for the best.

Thank you!

We have many, many shares on our page and ideas given to us by our members on events they would like to see us host on the server, but nothing prepared us for the amount of links we received for Clinic Craft. You all spoke, and we listened, and we bring you our own Clinic Craft building competition.

What Is This All About?

For those who haven’t heard of Clinic Craft, it’s a simple but brilliant idea brought to us in partnership with Save the Children: just build a clinic in Minecraft and raise awareness and money to help Save the Children build and equip a real clinic in a remote area of Liberia to help prevent deaths in children under one.

For more information, you can visit their site here.

Donating:

This is unfortunately where it gets a little confusing. Clinic Craft is a UK-based event, so when you’re looking at the website, the donate button will NOT work for any of my American friends.

However, after speaking with the organiser, we have been provided with a special link that, even though it goes to Save the Children, any money donated here will go into the Clinic Craft pot; just follow the link and don’t forget to change the slider at the top to change your donation into $USD.

Donate-Button

Our event:

On the server, we couldn’t let the opportunity for an event slip by us, so with a little help, we have created a 48-hour build challenge for you all.

That’s right; Starting on Saturday the 30th of August at 2pm EST and finishing on the 31st we are going to give you 48 hours to build a clinic of your very own! You can either do this as a team or on your own. You will have a 20 x 30 block plot, and you can be as creative as you wish; you don’t have to follow the blueprint or any laws of physics. Just get creative and make sure it looks like a clinic at the end. Don’t forget to decorate the interior, too. There will be a supply shed filled with some basic materials, but you will also be allowed to bring your own resources in, too. All ages are welcome!

Prizes:

First prize is a little special. Clinic Craft itself is also holding a competition for the best clinic, and we want the First-place winner to be the official community entry in this. That’s right: we will be entering the winning build to represent us in this challenge. This winner will also receive a set of power tools which include the power pick axe and power shovel. On top of this already fabulous bunch of goodies the 1st place winner will get to choose either a zombie or skeleton horse to have at their home as well as a free turn on the toad hut.

2nd Place will receive a Power Pick axe and a free go on the toad hut.

3rd  Place get the Power Shovel and also a free go on the toad hut.

As this is a Mutiplatform event, if players from the PS3 or Xbox win we have some special (un-official) Minecraft goodies for you to win

What next?

So the challenge is over, and you may or may not have won. Clinic Craft is not just asking for money! They want you to raise awareness for the charity and is in need of this, so maybe you could share your build with your friends along with the link, post it on Twitter, or stick it on Reddit. You could even enter it into the Clinic Craft competition in your own name. We want you to spread the word and give this cause some attention!

Special Thanks

We always says thanks to the admin team for putting together these events, and with this one, we did help but very little. My beautiful daughter Trixabella_z was moved incredibly by this project and took on nearly all the work herself, leaving only the finishing touches to the admin team. For this, we are very grateful and owe special thanks.
